Things have slowed down on Shopp lately as I’ve had to meet other project deadlines, but exciting things are still happening. Yes, it really does work. It just requires a bit of command-line TLC to appease the LaunchDaemon and filesystem hot wiring to make Apache/PHP and MySQL play together. continue

The iPhone Is Here! Wish You Were Beautiful!

With all the tra-la-la buzz of the iPhone over the weekend, I’ve been thinking about what I really want out of the iPhone beyond the “it’s the latest greatest, next-generation, world-changing, fit-as-many-buzzwords-in-as-possible tech gadget out there”. Alas, I want one, but given my experience with Apple’s first generation devices, I think I’m gonna wait on this one. That said, read on for my most anticipated features. continue

Flow, Take 2

Brian Amerige released a second screencast that tackles real-world use of his new remote connection client, Flow. The more I see, the more anticipation builds up. Alas, Flow is still in a private internal testing stage and public beta likely won’t happen till early April. Still, Brian has given us a few more tidbits of what Flow can do. continue
