I just want to let everyone know, even 2 years after the post was put up, this STILL works. I did not think it would. But as of December 16th between Wikimedia 1.16 and Wordpress 3.3 it works!

Hi Thanks for your esteemed effort,
But unfortunately for me it is not logged in to Wiki. For wiki and Word press i am using different databases. I am using WPMU v2.81 (Word press Multiuser) and latest version of MWiki.
Let me know what is wrong with me ?
Thanks in advance

Hi Ciarang,
This is John who complained that your code was not working in wordpress version 2.7.
I finally figured out the issue.
You code works perfectly under version 2.7.
The reason was not working before is was because I also installed a password protection plugin,CHEAP secure login.
This plugin will change hash password to another kind of format.
I would like to apologize to you.

Thank you for your great contribution.

Sincerely,

John
