I didn't want to be adding new functionality during the beta, though I have a feeling I may end up doing at least a little of that no matter how much I want to avoid it. Just to prepare you, I'm going to do a very limited alpha phase (short run, maybe a week or two) with some development-savvy individuals that can help me identify priority areas that have to be worked on before beta, and issues that can wait to be addressed during beta so I can get Shopp into beta release sooner rather than later.
