Like most of the others who have posted, I’m incredibly impressed by your efforts and very hopeful for what you’re trying to accomplish.

I’ve been blogging with WordPress for almost two years and have been looking for an e-commerce solution off and on ever since – both for myself and to recommend to other artists looking for an easier way to sell art prints or originals online.

If you still have room on your beta tester’s list, please add my name to it, I’d love to help out in any way possible.

THIS plugin sounds real promising! I’m personaly getting things sorted out to launch my own ecom store soon and I’m so glad I stumbled upon your site Jonathan!

Congrats on attempting the impossible! I too have used “the other plugin” and it achieves a lot but also has a lot of bugs and the code is crap.

Hasn’t anyone heard of MVC?

Anyway, I’ll grab the latest archive and hopefully it is will be love at first sight.

I am in personal development biz and I am selling digital products – for now just on simple sales page sites, but as I set up a good frequented (by now ) blog I want to sell my stuff (digital products) also directly from the blog – I tried all the solutions out there and nothing really works for me… so I am very hopefully looking forward to the release of your plugin and I would very very much appreciate it, if I can become a beta tester, too!!! That would be really great!!! )

For website projects, I usually work together with a programmer, but since interaction with the user is becoming ever more important for the online community, I started developing wordpress-based websites for some of my clients because of -indeed- the powerful yet simple blog system.

But I have been looking around for an interesting e-commerce plugin, especially for a bicycle brand I am about to launch by the end of this week. And your plugin sounds promising…

What is important for me is:

-general product description
-listing of specifications (as you did in the KMX karts website), which could eventually also be just a table
-add downloads (images and manuals) to a product
-multiple images to add to a product
-pick list of colour options to add to a product (possibly with extra costs for different options)
-pick list of sizes to add to a product
-custom shipping charges per product/country
-ideally: integrated stock management (number of product available etc.)

I would love to be a part of the beta testing. I am currently trying to use wp-ecommerce for a nursing uniforms site, but I am frustrated with a couple of things…

I don’t know if your program can handle something that robust…it may not sound like much, but with uniforms, there are a lot of product options and the color swatches gives me the most trouble because you need to have images for the different swatch options and be able to have them show up on a product page when needed.

If you want to try it out on something of this magnitude, please let me know.
