Today, I’m pleased to announce that the official website for the Shopp e-commerce plugin for WordPress is now online! We’re still settling in, so there may be a few things off here and there. It’s a bit barebones at the moment as the details of Shopp are still being finished up, so expect a lot to change as we near release. continue
Wow, the last 20% of the project has definitely been the longest haul of work. The product options/variations re-factoring hasn’t helped either. The good news though is that it’s now behind me and things are really going to speed up. continue
I was going to make this a reply, but the scale of the problem really seems to deserve it’s own post to drive a new discussion. As mentioned before, I went back to the drawing board to rework the product editing interface to more completely handle product options. Here’s an update with what I’ve come up with. continue
I suppose it should have been expected that there would be a few delays pop-up. Unfortunately, I’ve recently discovered a core area that has a critical flaw that I wasn’t aware of until implementing the catalog. As it is so central to why Shopp will be among the best e-commerce solution out there, it is key that I get it right. So, back to the drawing board I go… continue
