Recently, while trying to get all the resources in place ahead of the project launch for Shopp I ran across an issue integrating WordPress with MediaWiki. I did a heavy amount of research on the problem and found things more or less at a standstill. The bad news is, I didn’t find a magic solution. The good news is, I did find something. continue

Today, I’m pleased to announce that the official website for the Shopp e-commerce plugin for WordPress is now online! We’re still settling in, so there may be a few things off here and there. It’s a bit barebones at the moment as the details of Shopp are still being finished up, so expect a lot to change as we near release. continue


Shopp July Update

Wow, the last 20% of the project has definitely been the longest haul of work. The product options/variations re-factoring hasn’t helped either. The good news though is that it’s now behind me and things are really going to speed up. continue


Shopp Product Options

I was going to make this a reply, but the scale of the problem really seems to deserve it’s own post to drive a new discussion. As mentioned before, I went back to the drawing board to rework the product editing interface to more completely handle product options. Here’s an update with what I’ve come up with. continue

Unfortunately, I’ve recently discovered a core area that has a critical flaw that I wasn’t aware of until implementing the catalog.
